erssIn 2007 Worcester was fortunate to have the Senior Softball East Regional Tournament awarded to us.  This regional is for girls ages 13-16 and who reside in the following states: Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.  Girls compete in a week long tournament to claim the title of Regional Champion and win a bid for the Senior Softball World Series Tournament with the hope of becoming Senior Softball World Series Champion.  In addition to competing during the day we provide activities at night for the girls at no cost to them.  Over the years we have found the girls to be very appreciative of these activities.  A more important outcome of the tournament is the friendships that are forged as a result of participating in the tournament.

After 6 years of hosting this tournament Little League has given us a second honor by awarding us the Big League Softball Tournament to run concurrently with the Senior Softball Regional.  The girls will be bidding for the title of Big League Softball East Region Champion and win a bid for the Big League Softball World Series.
